	A Framework for Electronic Publishing Issues, by John December Library Issues of Electronic Publishing In "The Challenges of electronic Texts in the Library: Bibliographic Control and Access," Rebecca S. Guenther explores the challenges librarians face in describing and locating online information. Guenther traces the details of cataloging and machine-readable (MARC) standards under development by the American Library Association and Online Computer Library Center. Guenther provides a detailed look at cataloguing guidelines and formats and how they relate to Internet Engineering Task Force's identifiers for the Internet, including the Uniform Resource Locator, Uniform Resource Name, and Uniform Resource Citation. She concludes by pointing out that librarians will continue to provide value-added services by selecting and describing materials.
