Actually, Edwards' description of the application of fictional discourse to real life is reasonable and enlightening -- But he is no film critic! His descriptions of the plots of each film are mostly dull and uninspiring.I must also admit that Edwards' concepts of "cyborg discourse" and "cyborg subjectivity" are quite lost on me. Perhaps other readers will see more in the final 65 pages than I did.
