Coming Out of the Closedt World,

Although I would not exactly call Edwards1 work postmodern, his approach does offer an interesting set of perspectives for anyone wishing to unseat existing hegemonic interpretations of history, of culture, of political power or social knowledge, especially ones that are based on particular interested interpretations of historical events.
Such readers may want to offer replacement perspectives -- as Edwards does -- as
correctives
to existing
hegemonies, or they may merely want to upset the basis of our knowledge from the groundless grounds in
which we trust and base our choices and decisions.
