July 12-15 Bastille Days	at Cathedral Square in Milwaukee's East town neighborhood; organized by Milwaukee's East Town Association; celebrates music, food, and culture loosely organized around a French theme

July 26-29 German Fest	at Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) on the Lakefront; features musicians and dance troupes from around the world, costumes, contests, a live Glockenspiel, and other family activities
August 4 African World Festival	at Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) on the Lakefront; a celebration of African heritage and culture; honors the heritage of all people of African descent with the global community
August 11-12 Milwaukee Air & Water Show	At the Lakefront between Bradford Beach and McKinley Park. Airpower demonstrations. See my slideshow.
August 16-19 Irish Fest	at Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) on the Lakefront; celebrates Irish culture, music, and food at the lakefront annually and also works on promoting Irish culture and traditions throughout the year
August 24-26 Mexican Fiesta	at Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) on the Lakefront; the sound, culture and taste of Mexico
