Rethinking the World Wide Web as a Teaching Tool
The Internet's World Wide Web presents a spectrum of possibilities for communication, information, and interaction. Educators can use the Web to provide learning environments for students as well as support systems for teachers. But what are some of the issues to consider in approaching World Wide Web use and development? I'll identify some of the challenges and outline how the themes of building communities, approaching Web development as a process, and rethinking interactivity can help educators best tap the Web's potential.
