Thank you for reading Computer-Mediated Communication Magazine. This is the fifty-seventh and final issue. I hope this publication sparked your interest, brought new ideas to the study of computer-mediated communication, and gave you useful insights for your work.

I have decided to cease publication of the magazine primarily because of economics. I can no longer afford the time or money to subsidize it. Rather than suffer increasing degradation in quality, I'd rather end the magazine at this point.

When CMC Magazine started in May 1994 there were few established outlets for news and ideas about computer-mediated communication. Today there are many. The past issues of this magazine will always be here. I hope that you continue to enjoy them.
