  • Burns Commons County Park, 1300 N Franklin Pl: a county park with the streetcar platform on its northern edge; includes sculpture "Cleopatra's Wedge" and statue of Robert Burns. You can walk east from the Burns Commons stop to overlook Lake Michigan behind the Lake Bluff Condominiums; walking further, you can go down the walkway/stairs to the Oak Leaf Trail, Veterans Park, and beyond.; Area: Burns Commons
  • Juneau Park, 900 N Prospect Ave: the northern tip of this county park is about two blocks from the streetcar stop at Burns Commons; Area: Burns Commons
  • East Point Commons Dog Park, entrance near 1455 N Marshall St: within private apartment community but open to dog walkers; Area: Astor Street
  • Waverly Place Park, near 1055 E Juneau: triangular small park on the southeast corner of E Juneau Ave and N Waverly Pl; Area: Astor Street
  • Cathedral Square Park: a county park outside St John's Cathedral; formerly called Courthouse Square from 1836 to 1939 as the site of Milwaukee County's first courthouse on the north end; presently site of numerous festivals, concerts, special displays, and farmer's markets; Area: Cathedral Square
  • Milwaukee School of Engineering - MSOE Athletic Field, 1025 N Milwaukee: playing field for MSOE community members only, but you can watch softball and other games that may take place here from time to time; a pleasant walk along William E Coakley Walkway to/from the Jefferson walkway west of Juneau Village to/from Broadway; Area: Cathedral Square
  • Red Arrow Park, 920 N Water St: a county park with a winter ice-skating rink and a year-round coffeeshop (Starbucks); Area: City Hall (Wells Street)
  • Riverwalk Commons: west of Milwaukee Public Market and Water St on the Milwaukee river; includes pickleball courts and greenspace; Area: Third Ward (Public Market)
  • Downtown Milwaukee Dog Park, approx 490 N Plankinton Ave: an in-development dog park and riverwalk section; in-development summer 2021 (not yet open); Area: Plankinton Avenue
  • Three Dancers Park, northeast corner of W St Paul Ave and N 2nd St: greenspace, open space, picnic tables; Area: Plankinton Avenue
  • Zeidler Union Square, 301 W Michigan St: a county park named after Milwaukee's 33rd Mayor, Carl F. Zeidler; the Union Square part of the name recognizes labor's contributions and was added in 1995; Area: Intermodal Station

  • The Bronz Fonz: by the southeast corner of the Wells Street Bridge across the Milwaukee River; a statue of Henry Winkler who portrayed the character "Fonzie" on the television show "Happy Days" which had a fictional Milwaukee setting; this is about a 4 minute walk west of the streetcar platform at Broadway and Wells, about 300 meters; Area: City Hall (Wells Street)
