1994-07-21
Major re-design of look and feel. Removed all links to category icons---these icons never seemed very descriptive anyway; The whole text (except the icons-only version) uses just three icons
IWT ICON * o, and these are all each fewer than 350 bytes. I've also used ALT= to help non-graphical browsers. Each page now has a more common look and feel.
1994-07-20
link maintenance; fixed quite a few stale links; also fixed style problems with HTML; simplyified many HTML structures; major refurbishing of look and feel to cut down on icon use. This will also reduce maintenance time. Will still keep icons-only version, as an experiment to see how many people use it--later, I'll do something with a graphical information map there.

1994-05-02
hooked the French version to the front page
1994-04-28
I linked the narrative versions of each of the (nar-*.html) sections to the title of that section listed in index.html. Previously, this link had been to the list version. The reasoning is that a user of index.html should be able to quickly go to the narrative version (which adds value over what they currently see on index.html page about that section). The list version is still hooked up to index.html through the icon for that section. This is also consistent with the way the narrative and list versions are laced together.
1994-04-22
changed usenet FAQ repository link from ftp.rtfm.edu to Ohio State hypertext list; other routine link maintenance; more modifications of nar-keyword.html; put (Worm, Nomad) on front index.html page---I might do this with some of the most useful resources that are inside each subcategory; many new web searching tools, I'll need to rework this section.
1994-04-17
